Our story

Built from a patrol car

Mike is a police officer from Long Island NY still on shift full time. He started DeemedFit Apparel from his patrol car in 2022, and continued to build and optimize it while on shift.

Between 2020 and 2022, the mental health of first responders reached its breaking point. That's when this stopped being a side project.

How does sizing run?

Relaxed unisex fit that runs true to size. If you like an oversized look, go one size up. Most styles run XS to XXXL.

How fast will my order ship?

In stock orders ship within 24 hours and usually arrive in 3 to 5 days. US shipping is free on orders over $119.

How do pre-orders work?

Pre-order pieces are made to order, so they cost less than in stock. The ship date is shown on the product page before you pay, and you can cancel within 7 days for a full refund. If a date changes, we email you.

What is the DeemedFit Guarantee?

If your gear rips, stains or gets damaged, we replace it free. Contact us with your order number and we'll sort it out.

Can I return or exchange something?

Yes. Returns and exchanges are free for 30 days from delivery.

Where do the donations go?

A share of every order supports 1st Help, a nonprofit for first responders. We've also given to Tunnel to Towers, Beyond the Badge NY and E5 Therapy. See the full list.

How should I wash it?

Machine wash cold, inside out to protect the graphic, and tumble dry low.
