Yes! A portion of every sale supports trusted nonprofits focused on mental health care for first responders and military members. We give 10% of net proceeds to programs that support first responder and military mental health.
Who founded DeemedFit and why does it matter?
The brand was founded by Mike DeMarino, a full-time law enforcement officer with over seven years on the job. After witnessing firsthand the physical, mental, and emotional toll the job takes on fellow first responders, Mike wanted to create something that would uplift and motivate these heroes through apparel and creative content. The mission became even more personal after Mike lost his father — NYPD Deputy Chief Vincent DeMarino — to 9/11-related brain cancer in 2019. That loss, combined with a deep passion for the first responder community, is the heartbeat behind everything we do. This isn't a brand run by a boardroom. It's built by people who've lived it.
How much time does being an ambassador take?
It's flexible and designed to fit around your life. Ambassadors are expected to share content and represent the brand authentically on social media — typically just a few posts per month. There's no rigid time requirement.
